Service Learning

Aimed at students from primary to university levels, our service learning programmes sponsored by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Foundation, seek to instill social responsibility with an element of wildlife. Students will go through training on a selected animal exhibit, and will ‘graduate’ as wildlife buddies or Conservation Ambassadors.

With their newfound knowledge, these buddies will then take on the role of a mentor or guide as they enthuse about the different animals in the Zoo to their younger peers, less fortunate members of the society or visitors.

Conservation Ambassadors
New dates! 16 & 23 June 2012
Please note that attendance is compulsory for both dates.

Join the Singapore Zoo as a conservation ambassador today!

The Singapore Zoo is now opening our doors to an array of rewarding volunteering opportunities!

Inspect the elegance of butterflies and watch the endangered ring-tailed lemurs prance about with their long tails in mid-air. Introduce the world’s longest snake and intrigue your audience with some curious-looking blue-tongued reptiles! These are just some of the animals that you will come across at the Fragile Forest, Reptile House and Australian Outback exhibits when you volunteer as a Conservation Ambassador.
If you have an unwavering love for animals and Mother Nature, an inquisitive pursuit for animal and plant mysteries and have flair for people interaction, join the dedicated team of SPH Foundation Conservation Ambassador at Wildlife Reserves Singapore!
